Mirehouse Ponds. Type of Fishery: Coarse Fishing only. Disabled fishing from Mirehouse Pond's only. Night fishing for MEMBERS only. NO Boats. Location south of whitehaven on the A595 then turn right and head towards the B5345 which heads towards ST Bees along the edge of housing estate. The two ponds are on the left before you go up the hill. Match Pond.
Venue: Mirehouse Top Pond Pegs 1 to 32 eight of which have concrete platforms for the Disabled Water varies in depth from 6" to 12' average around 3' to 4 ft Species present are: Roach, Tench, Perch, Crucian Carp, Skimmer, Bream, Dace, Chub and Gudgeon Carp Pond.
Venue: Mirehouse Bottom Pond pegs 33 to 79 five of which have concrete platforms for the disabled Water varies in depth from 6" to 15' average 3' to 4 ft Species present are: Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Roach, Chub, Rudd, Perch, Gudgeon

Mockerkin Tarn. Type of Fishery: Coarse Fishing Only. Night fishing for MEMBERS only. NO Boats. Location take the road south of Cockermouth on the A5086 until you see the Tarn on your Left hand side with parking in the lay-bye next to the Tarn. There are no pegs or platforms to fish from. We have left the tarn as natural as possible. There is no provision for Disabled Anglers on this water as you have to travel across a field for access to Tarn. Water varies in depth from 6" to 30 ft Species present are: Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Pike.
