Cob House Fisheries

A warm welcome to Cob House Fishery, a coarse fishery that offers peaceful fishing in beautiful surroundings and caters for both the visiting pleasure angler and match angler alike. Anglers can currently enjoy eight coarse fishing pools on day ticket, with four of the pools also available for match bookings. There are some good sized carp in these pools, with several at least over the twenty pound mark. Perch over 3lb are a regular catch on Listers End especially. Elmbridge Fishery

Peacock Pool is the smallest of the three pools but still has plenty to offer even the established angler. With an island that runs right the way down the centre of the lake there is opportunity for a wide range of fishing techniques to be used from every peg. The large quantity and variety stocked here ensure the Peacock Pool gives a quality days fishing. Pheasant Pool - With a large expanse of water covering in the region of 2 acres with a depth at places of over 12 feet these waters are home to some sizeable carp. This specimen pool has the largest fish and has been known to provide serious weights making it popular for club matches as well as specialist carp anglers. With large grassy verges running alongside each bank the pheasant pool is also the most suitable for night fishermen. The Heron Pool is largest of the three lakes. This lake is the one generally used for the Elmbridge Fishery Open Contests as well as private club bookings due to the large match weights it produces. This lake is very popular so booking early is a must.

Hawford Bridge Fishery

Penlake is probably the most popular of our lakes. In the summer of 2017 the record of 372lb was caught in a five hour match. At about five feet deep around the sides and dropping down to nine feet in the centre, margin fishing works best. Penlake has distinct reed beds and a central island giving plenty of features. At nearly two acres in size Broomhill is similar in character to Penlake with it’s central island and reed beds. At about four feet deep at the reed beds and eight feet in the centre, with plenty of shrubbery and overhanging willows. Fishing in the margins or up against the island or reeds is a favoured technique. Situated at the furthest edge of the fishery, there are trees and bushes as a nice back drop, with plenty of bank cover. Bridge holds a good head of ghost carp, with mirrors and commons running up to twenty pound. Reddings is our newest lake with a heavy stock of small carp, ranging from two inches to nine pound. There are no big fish in here and no other species, except a very few trench. Completely open water, six feet deep throughout with a flat even bed.

Larford Lakes and River Complex

Situated in the heart of Worcestershire countryside, comprising of three lakes; the Specimen, the Match and the Arena, plus some of the best barbel and chub fishing on the River Severn. Larford fishery offers 250 prime lake pegs and 80 river pegs. It is our belief that one of the main ingredients which sets the fishery apart from most `commercial` fisheries is the surrounding environment. Larford offers that missing ingredient which standard `holes in the ground` seem to ignore. Larford has become a firm favourite with pleasure anglers because there are huge stocks of smaller carp, roach and skimmers, meaning bites will keep coming all day long. The fact that every peg is capable of winning the fiercely contested matches means it's popularity with match anglers is first class as the massive attendances at the weekend open matches prove.
