Forrest Hills (also known as Conder Valley fly fishery) offers both lake and river fly fishing. On the verge of the Forest of Bowland yet just minutes from junction 33 of the M6 we offer a beautiful and peaceful location with excellent access.
Beginners` fly-fishing tuition is available covering casting, imitative fly techniques and fish handling. Fly fishing can also be incorporated into corporate training and team building days.
The lake and river are managed in line with out environmental values and policy.
Open from dawn to dusk, Forrest Hills has car parking and toilet facilities. Most of the jetties are suitable for wheelchair access. Regular reports of the etymological life in the lake and river, imitative flies being used and fish caught are given in our BLOG.
A valid permit is required, which can be bought online from the Environment Agency or at any Post Office.
